Stock counting for cake studio POS in Kenya

This guide to stock counting for cake studio explains the daily checks. Reconcile the physical count of Celebration cake fixed size with deliveries and sales. A stock difference should be explained before it is adjusted.

Stock counting for cake studio: count the same unit that you sell

Separate standard ready-made cakes from fixed decoration or delivery charges. State the size of each standard cake item.

Count finished sale portions at the counter. A sale of one portion does not automatically deduct its recipe ingredients, so ingredient reconciliation needs its own process.
